Harper & Row, 1971. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Octavo. Gray boards with light gray cloth backstrip, orange typographical dust jacket, deckled edges. Signed by author on title page; hand written note from the author on a post-it note laid in ("Here's a long o.o. print c. of my 2nd novel for the auction. MK") Corners of boards mildly bumped, notably top right corner. Foxing on top edge of text block. Printing/cutting error where one signature slightly longer than the others, but binding is tight and solid. Jacket has edge wear, creasing, one small closed tear, and a long dent on the back panel. Binding tight, text bright, clean and unmarked. The post-it note indicates Kumin's second novel, but The Abduction is her third novel so may be a note from a different book. Very Good / Very Good.
